1. Parties and purpose
The client authorizes a project discovery deposit to BearSix Technologies, LLC. The deposit opens a supervised fit and discovery review for the project reference shown during checkout.
2. What the deposit does not do
Payment alone does not accept the project, create a final scope, guarantee availability, promise a result, authorize third-party spending, transfer intellectual property, or permit access to any system or data. Accepted work requires separate written terms.
3. Amount, application, and tax
The exact deposit amount and any processor-calculated tax appear in hosted Checkout before authorization. If the project is accepted, application of the deposit to the engagement will be documented in the written statement of work.
4. Refund treatment
No refund policy has been approved. Checkout therefore remains disabled.
5. Client authority and safe information
The client confirms they are authorized to submit the brief and pay the deposit. The intake must not contain payment-card data, passwords, secret keys, government identifiers, health information, private consumer data, or confidential information the client lacks authority to disclose.
6. Payment processing and confirmation
Stripe hosts the payment page. BearSix treats the signed Stripe webhook—not the browser redirect—as the authoritative confirmation of payment. Duplicate processor events are reconciled idempotently to one project reference.
7. Questions and written scope
Questions, refund requests, or project notices should be sent to Brian@bearsixtechnologies.com. No work begins solely because a deposit was paid.
